What is a fidget spinner?
Both Fidget Cube and fidget spinners are called fidget toys. Do you find it hard to keep your hands still during a long class? Picking at paperclips and tapping your pen? You're a fidgeter! (Are you restless during sessions at the office conference table insead of class? You're an adult fidgeter! Fidget toys are for adults, too!)
A fidget spinner, including our metallic and LED models, has three "arms" that spin around a low-friction ball bearing when you had pressure. Low friction is why your metal fidget spinner spins so fast -- less drag to slow it down. You can spin your metal fidget spinner with a finger or "wave" your hand with it so that the motion spins the arms.
What is a fidget spinner used for?
Metal fidget toys like fidget spinner let fidgeters focus on something besides the thing that makes them, well, fidget! Plus, because your hands are so active, your metal fidget toys are a little sturdier if you drop them (or let them spin out of your hands!).
Focusing your nervous energy on your metal fidget spinner can help you push past your anxiety. Sometimes it's just sitting still, but it can be overall shyness. Many people say they use Fidget Cube and fidget spinner to cope with ADHD.
Besides -- your fidget toys don't have to be useful. We call them "toys" because they're fun!
What about black fidget toys?
